Sue Bonnet Applique Samples

I received some requests for Sue Bonnet applique blocks. One request comes from East M. I tried to forward the samples by email but the files are just too big. So here are some of the bigger samples that I have selected for her (the size are 3.5" x 5" to 5" x 6").
The colour combination of the fabric can be changed, that is, please tell me the main colour scheme only eg. pink and purple, green and yellow, red and pink etc. I will still add in other colours for the shoes, hat etc that will blend in with the main colour scheme.
State the background fabric either white tone on tone, off white tone on tone or other solid colours if you like. But the applique will stand out if it is done on a light coloured background.
I like to use small floral prints, polka dots and various Gemstone by Fabri Quilt.

Sue Bonnet Cushion Cover

Isn't it cute? This is Thilani's machine applique project. She was very happy with the result. Her daughter has requested that she make her a single quilt - Sue Bonnet quilt of course! See you this Saturday Thilani. Please remember to enlarge the pattern!

Bag for Children

This tote is designed for children. It is rather spacious for a file and water thumbler. The outside pocket is adorned with little Sue reading a book. Can be custom made to suit your need. If you want to sew it yourself, we can assemble the kit for you, based on request.

Sue Bonnet Cushion Cover

Hi all. I have been a bit busy with work. I couldn't update the blog as planned. So here is the finished cushion cover which I mentioned last week. Isn't it cute? We can do the applique for you, just let us know your colour preference.

Lately there have been several requests for Sue Bonnet applique. We just delivered 20 kits to one client. After seeing our latest project, she quickly place another order, so obsessed with Sue. They are very pretty indeed. Bright combination of fabrics further enhance the applique. Here is Mira closely monitoring the process.

This piece will be made into a cushion cover. We will post on blog the finished cover once it is ready. Anyone who is interested in getting the applique done, please get in touch with us. We can applique them according to your need whether a small cushion cover, a pocket for a bag, a tote bag or even quilt blocks (we had done one in queen size, a total of 20 blocks). The size of the applique is fixed, the biggest is 5.5" x 5.5" and the smallest is 4.5" (H) x 3" (W). We can, however, vary the applique background size, that's what I mean.
